First and foremost if you are looking for an top grade Attorney who knows how to get the job done then look no further than Patricia Whitman. Patricia was the second Attorney that i appointed to represent me in my Divorce, as i was not happy with the service (or costs) of my first Attorney. Even though my first Attorney was very highly regarded within my county she did not represent me well. Patricia (although out of my county) came in and completely transformed my situation. She is extremely diligent and will work tirelessly to achieve the desired outcome. Patricia is extremely honest, Professional, hard working, loyal, excellent negotiator, fastidious, conscientious, cares about her clients and possesses an excellent Professional and Personal demeanor. Patricia will work with you to decide if she is the right person to represent you and if you are the right client for her to work with. She is honest and open and transparent about costs and also about likely outcomes. She will guide you through the good and the bad and be honest with you all of the way. My view and opinion of Attorneys was very tainted until i met Patricia, she has an amazing ability to negotiate and win cases but whilst doing so in the most calm and controlled manner possible. I do not write reviews very often but i felt that i needed to let people know about this true "Gem" that is Patricia, she will truly change your life and your perspective on life as you navigate through extremely difficult and traumatic personal times. Started off strong. The longer we worked together the worst the communication got. Had to eventually hire another lawyer to move things along as she was not communicating at all.

Learn technology. Respond to messages. Process paperwork in a timely manner. Update clients on status. Just generally do your job without requiring constant pestering from your clients.

I thank Jennifer for her comments. Unfortunately, they are not accurate. I am not responsible for how slowly the Courts process paperwork. I, however, pride myself on my timliness in handling paperwork. My other 30+ reviews would attest to that. Although it might be anxiety producing, unless it's an emergency, my staff nor I can respond every day to phone calls or emails. I recognize, in a divorce, the process can be agonizingly slow. Finally, if you're looking for a "Technical Wizzard," I'm not your woman!! I'm known to mess up Zoom meetings....

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on either an hourly rate or flat fee basis. I believe that client's should be involved in discussing and determining fees. I do work with people to arrange for payment plans.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with a client for a 60 minute no cost consult so that we can spend enough time together both to review the case, and decide whether we feel comfortable together. It's always best if you are not only confident with my skills and knowledge, but feel that we will make a good working team.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Juris Doctor degree (Law), and a Master's Degree in Speech Communication, which has sharpened my ability to present your case with clarity, strength and a persuasiveness necessary to enable a Judge or Master to truly "get" what your position is.
