FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system. Each project in video is different because the customer may only hire me to shoot the video or the customer may only want me to edit a video that they already have, etc. There are all different prices for each video that I work on depending on the size and time span of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually begin with a phone call to greet my customer, and find out exactly what he or she would like done. Then we will arrange a time to meet to gather more information, and figure out the time span of the project, etc. I will draw up a contract that promises the video to be completed and ask for a video deposit. The customer will get the completed project on the date that we arranged, and I will get the rest of my payment on that date as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the award-winning Art Institute of Philadelphia for film and video production. I learned a tremendous amount while I was there. The Art Institute requires hands-on internships, and I did my internships at several different places including Shadowbox Pictures, and CBS in Philadelphia. While I was there I also worked as a GRIP on several different movie productions in Philadelphia at the time including: National Treasure.
