Gary transferred many years of video, from tapes as far back as Beta, onto a hard drive for us. He went above and beyond in all the tasks, and, though it took a while, rescued all the memories I'd taken and stored, not realizing the media - and players - should be regularly updated.
100% recommendation - and he's an easy person to talk to, as well. Feel free to get updates during the process from him.
Due to illness, I had taken them - figuring I could not go back in time to do that - but never post-processed over 18 tapes and recordings in many formats.
I will be eternally grateful for his support and the memories I saved for my children.

Working with Gary was a great experience. When I arrived on location early he was already set up and ready to go. We recorded an installation video for my product.
When I described the project I assumed we were going to do a simple shoot, but Gary went over the top and shot the install from multiple angles and even found a model for some of the shots in the video.
Will definitely work with again and highly suggest working with Gary and Films4Good. Professional and friendly, overall great experience.

Gary, I love the video you made for us, but it isn't just me anymore... Remember how it was such an uphill battle to convince everyone (other than me) that a wedding video would be awesome? My groom and my parents and his parents... Everyone thought it would be unneccessary and distracting and bothersome, blah blah blah.
Well, I am happy to report that EVERYONE has changed their minds and are so happy to have the video. We have all enjoyed getting to remember our special day and seeing all those moments that we didn't see at the time. My husband loved the messages from our family and friends. My parents were thrilled to see more of guests who weren't in many photos, and to have a chance to enjoy and remember the day rather than focus on just the details. And my husband's parents have told me of their happiness with our video via text, so I can quote them directly:
"Actually, it's the best wedding video we've ever seen. Your videographer made everybody look good, and the editing and pacing were excellent. I think it's best if we can speak directly so that I can fully understand their vision for the final product and as a direct way to ask and answer questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's impossible not to attend seminars and trainings on equipment and technique if one wants to grow as a professional while also being open to sharing with and learning from other professionals along the way.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Personal storytelling, commercial messaging and, above all, informing, involving and inspiring people around issues of importance have always been an incredibly strong passion for me.
