Introduction: If you are looking for gardening design; new planting; help choosing native trees, shrubs and sun or shade perennials; special pruning; or even weeding solutions, I am your girl. I am a retired professional gardener, now working on completing a fiction novel that I began in 2018. Just looking for some jobs to keep food on the table while I finish my novel. I was a highly successful gardener in Chester County PA, working on priceless estates and also a few homeowners through this app. I have been educated in Horticulture through the University of Delaware and over 20 years of growing experience. Garden/landscape design starts at $125 an hour. Maintenance is charge by the job, not the hour - so no guessing!

The gardener and I got off to an excellent start. She was responsive in a timely manner to the request for assistance. Took time out of her schedule for an in-home estimate, offered knowledgeable suggestions based on experience and focused on the importance of prioritizing against a planned for budget. I was impressed with her professionalism and enthusiastically paid $125 for a proposed lay-out. After some tweaking of the lay-out, I thought we were in agreement about the work to be done, but after one text message, one email message and the passage of almost four weeks, my second email message (and third message altogether) was responded to with a statement that she was not clear on what I wanted to do. By this time we were into the first week of June. Spring was almost behind us and I had spent $125 with nothing to show for it. She did offer to begin work by sending an invoice, but by this time I was no longer interested in having any work done in the heat of summer. I thanked her and stated that I would start up again for work on the front beds in Spring 2017. No response, so we're at closure. The problem was poor communications.

Heather and her crew are extremely knowledgeable about plants. They did an outstanding job cleaning up and arranging my elderly mother's home gardens, which had grown out of control. The crew works diligently and her pricing is very reasonable. My mother is very happy with the results.
