Since I do not have boarders, I can concentrate all my time on providing quality individualized instruction on experienced show horses. I've been taking hour long private lessons with Ruth since the end of April. She's a terrific instructor: patient, encouraging, precise. Hank is a great horse to learn on: very smooth and well behaved. Started with one lesson per week; quickly moved to two. I am sooooo LOVING my riding lessons with Ruth and Hank.

I am an adult rider and over the years have had many instructors. Ruth has proven to be, by far, the best teacher I have ever had. Through her combined method of training, I have developed my riding skills dramatically and have gained a sense of confidence I had not believed possible. I now own my own horse and continue to train with Ruth to further develop my understanding of the sport and to enhance my level of riding.

I've been taking lessons with Ruth since returning to riding in April 2011--after 20 years of no riding. Ruth is a terrific judge of when I'm ready to take it to the next level and great at getting me there. I couldn't ask for a better instructor!

When is was younger I had a bad fall at different barn and wouldn't get back on. After a two year break I went to Ruth's and started riding Patches. I completely regained confidence! The ponies are awesome and she has one for the 3 year old beginner or the advanced shower ready to compete. I still ride at concord acres and plan on never leaving. Ruth teaches in a way that pushes you but does not make you feel pressured or nervous at all. I love it here. I highly recommend this barn and instructor for anyone who just wants to have a Great time riding. :)

Ruth had been training my daughter for almost 7 years now. My daughter loves her and I do as well! My girl has built up so much self esteem, confidence and motivation working with Ruth. Ruth is patient and kind and is always willing to make positive things happen for her students. My girl now competes regularly and keeps setting new goals. Even I have started taking lessons. If you are looking for true riding experience in a calm, focussed, relaxing and beautiful environment with a solid instructor with zero barn politics and pressure, I highly recommend Ruth and Convord Acres!

Evaluate student’s skill level on my experienced lesson horse suitable for all riders. Reassess at each lesson to help advance rider skills and challenge her to ride more advanced horses as she progresses.

I am a certified teacher preschool through high school. I have been riding, training, and competing horse all my life. I attend clinics, horse expos, and read professional journals.
