Living in a comfortable gracious home is perhaps one of life’s greatest joys. This is achieved through working with a client in a partnership to make their home reflect their values and needs. Less about perfection and more about pulling things together to give that lovely flow of cohesion….I have access to fabric, furnishings, rugs and art. A workroom is at the ready to make any and all types of pillows and window coverings… from a simple room refresh to a full house makeover we are here to help you fall in love again with your home. I have access to many trade accounts so if the client purchases through me I can get them a discount. My hourly rate for 2025 is $125 an hour. The initial on-site consultation with design plan is $350.00. Any ongoing service after that is billed at 125$ an hour. Also please note that I do not offer CAD computer generated designs. Instead we meet on-site, we come up with a priority list for target areas, I take basic measurements, I assist with rearranging furniture, then I shop for my client, engaging in online researching as well as purchasing and delivering items they need . In this process, I am creating a cohesive look that is warm and timeless. I am not bound to any one style of design— I love a mix of different looks but prioritize what my client likes in terms of beauty and function. My services are provided in an organic way based on a relationship that I establish with each client.

Amy has a knack for taking your existing pieces and moving them around so they look much better. She is a thoughtful shopper and looks at cost versus the added value. She is able to pull together beautiful displays and change the look of a room entirely. I will certainly use her again as I continue to update my house.

I hired Amy to help me re-decorate my office. She was absolutely amazing. She took my ideas and helped my office Come to life. Her cost and what she could and could not do was upfront, and clear. Major decisions were not made without me however, smaller decisions she made on her own, which allowed me to continue to work while she designed the office space. She is absolutely amazing and would hire her again. I’m now looking for new projects just so I could hire her lol.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
That I am not intimidating or judgmental. I fundamentally love people and want them to have a happy relationship with their home We can work out a budget because like most things in life there are top, middle and lower tier. Keep in mind that design is a process and an investment in your home which is an extension of one’s identity. A one hour consultation in and of itself will not be the solution….
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I’m a good listener. I take notes and encourage client to keep special pieces. I work with family treasures and artifacts… but help them to achieve an updated fresh look
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many art courses in scale, color theory, art history, and textiles. My Mom was a seamstress and my Dad was a builder. They were DIYers back in the 60’s and taught me so much!
