Steve Glatfelter's Writing

Introduction: I have been writing all my life, since early in grade school. I earned a Bachelor's degree from Penn State in English with the Writing Option, where I studied News Writing, Magazine Journalism, Fiction Writing, Non-Fiction Writing, Playwriting and Poetry. I have written several short stories and theatrical plays for both youth and adults, some of which have been produced at amateur and semi-professional theaters in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina. I have also performed in some of the children's plays (original adaptations of "Beauty and the Beast" and "Allidan and His Magic Lamp" -- both written and produced prior to the Disney movies or stage productions) and directed and co-produced an adult three-act play ("My Soul To Keep") at York Little Theatre, York, PA, the sequel to which ("Die Before We Wake") was adapted as a screenplay and submitted to Project Greenlight (executive producers Matt Damon and Ben Afleck) and scored high enough to make the Top 1,000 entries out of 7,000+ entries nation wide.
