Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and would like to respond clearly. It’s misleading to suggest that three days were spent solely on active labor. All circumstances and steps were clearly communicated and discussed. Your understanding and agreement were expressed, and we proceeded accordingly based on that mutual understanding. The hallway job was completed professionally, including necessary preparation, custom cuts and included additional tasks not agreed upon, in an effort to retroactively justify the fixed price without additional compensation. Under these circumstances we were transparent as we are with all our clients to avoid surprises; it’s disappointing to see that misrepresented in your review. Your reference to a “heated argument” is inaccurate. Any assistance offered by your husband was voluntary and unsolicited. While we respect every client's right to share feedback, we stand by the integrity of our work and how we conduct ourselves. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an onsite visit to meet our new client and allow them to explain details they have in mind and as the professionals we listen, understand, and highlight details that need to be addressed before providing a fair estimate for the project.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father is a master plaster guy and his overall knowledge in interior renovations influenced my career path ever since I was a child. I chose carpentry and worked alongside many carpenters over the years that gained me the skillset needed to succeed.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have had many different clients, some for smaller projects and others for bigger Kitchen/Bath renovations. All the different personalities and cultures we are privileged to be welcomed by keeps our experiences exciting.
