- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been assembling various play and gym equipment for nearly 6 years. I have completed 800+ swingsets, 200+ trampolines, 50+ gazebos, 50+ gym equipment and thousands of furniture pieces.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to be a finance geek (PhD Track in finance). One day, I decided I no longer wanted to be behind a computer all day and quickly found a love for play equipment. Kids waving at the window all day yelling “Are you done yet, Mr Pierre?”. There is little more satisfying that watching kids’ and parents’ smiles when testing out their new play equipment.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently installed a whole gym at a new apartment complex: 2 treadmills, smith machines, ab raise, 2 bicycles, weight rack. One fun day!
