We got married 4/2/17. Troy was open, honest, and inviting from the beginning. We met with him for the first time in his office and right when we walked back to our car, we knew he was the right guy to officiate our wedding. In our meetings, he asked us deep questions that made me and my husband really dwell and talk about them even days afterward. We still think about these discussions and Troy's advice. Troy also offered other sessions on topics like money, family, and intimacy which we never had the chance to go to unfortunately. Troy worked with us on the wedding ceremony and let us have input as well. We would 100% recommend Troy to any couple who wants a down to earth officiant who they can really form a relationship with. There isn't enough words that I can write to tell you how special Rev. Troy is. He is not only a fantastic wedding officiant, he is a kind and compassionate person that really takes the time to get to know the couple and listens to what you want out of your wedding ceremony. He went above and beyond to make our ceremony personalized and special. He also met with us several times to make sure we had the ceremony just as we envisioned. He also blessed our first home in the midst of wedding planning! He is truly one of a kind and a God sent in some of the most stressful points prior to our wedding day. We included some wedding ceremony traditions from our different cultural backgrounds and it was done flawlessly. He cares about you and what you want for your wedding. I would highly recommend Rev. Troy to anyone that wants a meaningful ceremony from the heart. We hope to keep in touch with him. He's a very special person.

Rev. Troy Short was excellent in all respects. For example, his genuine concern that our marriage get off to a solid footing through his pre-marital meetings was enlightening. Also his officiating the ceremony was very warm and served to underscore the moment of he union. I highly recommend him!

If you are looking for a great officiant, then Pastor Troy is your guy! He was helpful through the whole process, and our ceremony turned out better than we could have ever dreamed. Our initial meeting was great-he listened to all of our needs and tailored a ceremony to what we wanted. He was always extremely responsive through communications leading up to the wedding day. He came to rehearsal and gave us full confidence that we would be relaxed during the ceremony. Pastor Troy picked the perfect Bible quotes for our readings, and even did a small reading about Ecclesiastes while we braided our cord of three strands. He was more than we could have ever hoped for, and made us feel extra special and close to God during our ceremony. We look forward to communicating with him in the future too!!
