FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a professional photographer since I was 13 years of age. Yes, 13 (!) if professional means you get paid for your work. There was a huge fire in the center of Lancaster City - right in Penn Square, the Conestoga Bank burned out - it was general alarm, devastating fire. I was only 13, but I shot images of the fire, developed them, and then sent them to the NPPA - and they bought them for $15. I was hooked from that point forward! I couldn't believe it. That might have been the best paycheck I ever received in my entire life!
