Had a leak through the ceiling. He open the ceiling and fixed replaced the drain. He replied immediately and came right away since it was an urgent matter. He has to come back to repair the ceiling after everything is dried out. Had planned to use him again. This is a rental and I live out of town and he communicated with me every step of the way, until he got paid. I was going out of the country for a week and so I paid him BEFORE he came back to repair the ceiling. Big mistake! This is something I don't usually do, but because he was so prompt I didn't want to make him wait until I got back. The day he said he would come back he was a no show. The next day he was 2 hours late. He did not repair the ceiling, which I asked him if he could do before I hired him, since I had another plummer who said they would repair the ceiling. He just stuck a piece of sheet rock in the hole in the ceiling and left. When I asked him about this he said, "People like you are cheap and want something for nothing. Any other plummer would have been alot more (money) and not fixed the ceiling. I am not going to spend any more time with it, so calling me is a waste of time." I paid him Exactly the amount he quoted me. If there was an additional cost he could have said so and I would have paid it. I SPOKE TO HIM AFTER HE FINISHED THE PLUMBING PART AND HE NEVER SAID HE NEEDED MORE MONEY, BUT HE HAD NOT BEEN PAID YET. After he was paid all of a sudden it was not enough. yes i took the job and reworked all plumbing under tub with new style pipes ,took about 4 hrs , finished then was asked to patch hole in ceiling ,and told her that it was not in repair contract,and she asked me if i could cover hole so i did,then ,she wanted to repair ceiling for what i was paid,i was payed to fix plumbing not ceiling and what i charged for plumbing i gave a very good deal,iam sorry but i cant work for free nobody can.
We started out thinking the job was bigger than what it was. Really appreciated that he was honest and didn’t charge us an extremely high price for something so small to fix.May 31, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?All pricing is composed of Parts, Time and Labor. A written estimate is given for all jobs. A written contract is drawn up, upon agreement and signed by both parties. Any additional or minuses of work we shall do an addendum to the written contract to protect both parties. If it is decided more work needs to be done; a change order will be completed, prices and times for completion to adjust the contract.
