- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Carefully considering that there are no do overs. This is the only tangible item you will take away from your wedding day or your child's birth. They can't be re-done. Choosing a wedding photographer and Newborn/Birth Photographer is the most important decision you will make, because in ten years it is the only thing you will have to show for all the hard work, money and effort that goes into these event are your pictures.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Purchase professionally printed images. You can not hold a digital copy of an image in your hand. You can't hang a CD on the wall (well I guess you could, but it might not look as good as a large gallery wrapped version of your photography). Keep your digital copies as a back-up to your favorite images in a beautiful printed version. Use it to print small prints to put in a book that you carry with you. But create an heirloom with your images.
