Specific behaviors to address
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My name is Emma and I have been working with dogs full time for the past six years. My experience training dogs for protection sports and previous focus on difficult dogs gives me a great skillset to help your pup become the best they can be! My primary training focus is reactivity, aggression, and behavior modification, but I can help you with anything from counter surfing to leash pulling as well. I am currently booking private lessons within the Chester County area. Board and train packages are available for surrounding areas.

After just a few sessions, I’m so confident with Emma’s training abilities! She is knowledgeable and very friendly. I really enjoy our sessions! I have 2 mixed pups with completely different personalities that we have adopted both less than 2 years ago. They are both sweeties with quirky behaviors that were unfortunately enhanced during quarantine. They need modifying and I’m already seeing progress working with Emma! One excessively barks when new people come around/inside and the other is less confident where I worry it could turn into aggression. So I was looking to modify those behaviors ASAP. The excessive barking is progressing nicely after 2 sessions and so is my other’s confidence. I will be doing a stay and train (board&train) for my pup with less confidence so that Emma can work more closely with him. Highly recommend Fetch Happens Dog Training!

I am so thankful to have found Emma to help train Bean, my 15 week-old Jack Russell Terrier. Although I only left Bean for one week, the improvements in her behavior have been drastic! Before leaving her with Emma, she was jumping, mouthing hands, resource guarding and unaware of basic commands. However, upon picking her up Bean was successfully able to come when called, sit for attention, jump on and off furniture, trade toys or other high value items for treats, and has almost mastered loose leash walking. Throughout the week I was sent several videos, updates, and training techniques that were being used to improve Bean’s behavior! Not only was I always informed about the wellness of my pup, but was at ease knowing she was being treated like her own. My experience with Emma was even better than I could have hoped for!

Details: 0 - 6 months old • Extra Small (1 - 15 lbs) • Private lessons • Puppy training • Biting • Chewing • Destructive behavior • At the pro’s location • My home, venue, etc.

Emma is a great trainer! I’ve worked with her a number of times and entrusted her with a service dog in training that was returned knowing more tasks than when he left. She has a great sense of dog body language. I never hesitate to call her if I’m in a bind. (Photo is of her Poodle she trained during his Canine Good Citizen advanced test at the Farm Show)

My dog had separation anxiety and just started bolting out the door and trying to run away when people came over, so I sent him to Emma for a month. She taught him to go into the crate when he's nervous and come back when he hears his name. He also learned new tricks while he was there and he's better at walking on the leash. I didn't like being away from him for that long but she answered all of my questions and sent pictures while he was gone, and now I don't have to worry about him running into the road or hurting himself when I leave him alone.

The trainer was very attentive to what I asked for and was very detailed in explaining the training plan and what the outcomes would be.
