FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is typically based per project, but there are variables involved in determining the pricing, such as: accessibility to job site, location of project (back yard, front yard, etc), ability to stage materials on site to lower delivery costs, whether structures need removed for access i.e. fencing, underlying soil conditions (rocky, clay, silt, natural spring) and the need to fortify sub base material prior to installation, grade of existing area and how much excavation may be needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we will meet with a prospective client to obtain measurements for walls or any paving that is desired. Then we would discuss design options, product colors and textures and possible paver laying patterns. At this point we will offer our suggestions based upon our expertise in these areas. Afterwards, we will take this information and create a computer generated design usually a 3 dimensional rendering of the project , as well as, generate a job proposal outlining the construction process and the total job cost. We will the reconvene with the customer and present the drawings and proposal, then answer any questions or concerns that they may have and if necessary make changes to the design to meet the customers needs. Once everything is finalized, we would draft a contract and review with customer, outlining installation and payment procedures. If in agreement, both the customer and our company sign the contract and then we can commence scheduling to complete the installation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We hold current installer certifications from the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute for concrete pavers and the National Concrete Masonry Association for segmental retaining walls.
