- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The typical process for working with a new customer may include the following steps: Initial Contact: The customer may contact me via phone, email, or through my website to inquire about my notary services. I will respond promptly and provide information on my availability, pricing, and any other relevant details. Appointment Scheduling: Once the customer confirms their need for notary services, we will schedule an appointment at a mutually convenient time and location. If applicable, I will provide information on any documents or identification requirements the customer needs to bring. Document Preparation: Prior to the appointment, the customer will need to ensure that the documents requiring notarization are complete and ready for signature. I will also review the documents and requirements to ensure that they comply with notarial laws and regulations. In-Person Meeting: At the scheduled appointment, the customer and I will meet in person. I will verify the identity of the customer and any other required parties by checking their identification documents, such as a valid driver's license or passport. Notarization Process: Once the identity of the parties is confirmed, I will administer the notarial act, which may include witnessing the signing of documents, verifying signatures, and affixing my official notary seal or stamp on the documents as required by law.
