Ask the following questions: What professional background do you have handling pets? I was a former Veterinary Nurse and a Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR instructor. Please provide proof of bonding and insurance. Are you Pet CPR/First Aid trained? Not only am I trained, I also teach Pet First Aid/CPR. Do you have references? Several. I can personally provide references to you and there are some on my web site. Do they have a clean background check? I have invested in a national background check for your reference. How much experience does the sitter have professionally pet sitting. Professionally pet sitting is a lot different than caring for their own personal pets. I have over 15 years professionally caring for pets. Are there established fees? Is there a fee schedule you could have. My fees are posted on my web site.
