We installed a water softener and whole house filter without issue. However, the tub spout that the homeowner provided us to install was damaged internally which caused the leak. Our technician installed a brand new tub spout that we provided as a courtesy to rectify the situation. We were not aware of the extent of the leak below, as it was in a closed off area where we were not working. If we seen the water, we would have certainly made the homeowner aware and cleaned it up. The technician only notice leakage where the tub spout connected to the back of the shower. We understand the homeowner's frustration regarding the ceiling repair, however we can't take liability for something that was not caused by our company.
