FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I kind of stumbled my way into it. I decided my 10th grade year to take an electronics class at the local vo-tech (this would have been 1995-ish). There, I met Mr. Edward Albert, who became more than just a teacher, he was a friend and mentor. Mr. Albert saw a spark in me when it came to computers, and pushed me in that direction. By 11th grade, I was already running service calls outside of the school!!! I tried to rebel a little bit, and I got into retail and business management. but it didn't take long for me to miss my calling. After working for some rather large companies, I struck out on my own - the rest, is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
VIRUSES AND MALWARE!! I can not stress the importance of on-line safety and security. these make up about 60% of my calls.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always interview your tech. If they aren't willing to answer questions over the phone or email, they probably aren't going to be able to solve your problem. A good technician stands behind his background, so they will not refuse to address concerns you may have.
