Introduction: I give personal attention to each case and do not simply churn out cases prepared by paralegals and assistants. I know my client's cases and do not simply file as many cases as possible. Moreover, unlike some attorneys, I do not force clients to deal only with staff. In fact, I make it a point to be available to my clients. I have heard too many horror stories about attorneys who do not return calls or email messages within a reasonable period of time. If an attorney does not returns calls and email messages promptly, it is often an indication that the attorney does not respect clients or has serious problem in his or her practice. Helping people resolve serious financial issues and get back on track is the most personally rewarding aspect of my practice.

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Experience in bankruptcy and other related areas of law is important when you are choosing a bankruptcy attorney. Of course, knowledge is as important as experience, but the two often go hand in hand. If the lawyer blogs, you might want to read what he or she has posted. You can tell a lot from your first meeting with a lawyer. At the very least, a good bankruptcy attorney will (1) review your overall financial situation with you, (2) discuss all of your options, not just bankruptcy, (3) and answer any questions you may have. Avoid lawyers who do not return calls. Although some attorneys handle very high volumes of cases, it is never acceptable for an attorney not to return your calls or messages in a timely manner. An attorney's staff can be very helpful, but if you want to speak to your lawyer, you should be able to do so.
