Dance lessons by Jacklyn Shapiro I have been taking lessons with Jacklyn for a good number of years. Jacklyn is not only a very very good dancer, she can teach! She is patient and expects a lot from her students. She is creative and likes to challenge her students. You can tell that she enjoys teaching as she is always smiling and in a good mood.Sep 23, 2016
My wife and I have been taking classes with Jackie for over 8 years! We started dancing as complete beginners and have grown every step of the way with her to our now advanced level of ballroom dancing. She is a very kind and patient teacher who truly cares about her students and their dance goals! We highly recommended Jackie to anyone looking to learn how to dance, whether as a professional, hobbyist, or for wedding lessons her expertise of teaching is like none other in the area.Jul 5, 2016
After having many lessons with Jacklyn my first response is WOW! Always attentive, patient, and helpful in and out of the studio. If you are looking for a dance lesson filled with fun, good energy, filled with technique and much more, Jackie is the one for you!Jul 5, 2016
If only everything in life was that easy!! We needed a dance instructor to teach us a few moves for the birthday party. Five classes with Jackie and we were dancing away! Not just the moves but choreography and little details, hand positions, hips moves, head direction.Jun 27, 2015Verified
Jackie is our ballroom dance instructor. Jackie has taken 2 non-dancers and given us the courage to dance. Her patience with us is wonderful as she reminds us, sometimes weekly, about our former, footwork and count.Jul 5, 2016
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a dancer you should never stop growing and learning. Even though I am a full time instructor, I take classes and workshops with top pros that inspire me and keep me growing as a professional so I can rely that knowledge to mg students.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was inspired when I was 12 years old, by other kids that were dancing in my community. Since then, dance has been a part of my everyday life - and I proudly say that I can work with my passion.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Just let go of your fears and try it! It's not scary or intimidating as you may be feeling - anyone can learn to dance, even those of you who feel you have "two left feet!"
