- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down in person to get to know a potential client and ask how they would like the event to feel. At that meeting, I ask for all kinds of inspiration to provide a design concept with ideas to make it their own. No idea is unique, it is about how you make it unique to you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Event Leadership Certification, Accredited Designer through (IWed Global), and various floral conferences and workshops on the east coast.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After planning my wedding and other events (non-profit and private social events), it was a natural fit to continue on this path for others. I was an intern at an evens magazine as well as wedding assistant before starting out planning weddings. After not receiving the quality of floral arrangements from partners, I moved over to design as it has allowed me to express my creativity and I love it!
