Chris is an excellent musician, coach, and artist: he’s got a great ear. When it comes to technical knowledge, Chris is top notch. In addition to understanding vocal technique, Chris can easily and quickly breakdown a song, recognize stumbling blocks for my (or I would imagine, any) vocal range, and hone in on places to grow and focus on. He gets straight to the point, where the growth occurs.

I was at first skeptical about how much I would enjoy online vocal lessons until I decided to give it a try. It's just as great as in person lessons! It's such a fun experience and Chris is such a delight and a cool guy.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically start with a 15-20 minute phone call to discuss your needs and give you an overview of how I work/what I do as well as answer any questions you might have. From there, if it seems like the right student/teacher match, we can schedule an intro lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor's degree in Music Theory from Westminster Choir College, where my primary instrument was classical voice.
I've been teaching voice for 7+ years, also working as a songwriter, audio engineer, and producer.
