The Bassment Project

Introduction: The Bassment Project is a Philadelphia based jazz fusion, soul, and R&B band able to take songs from virtually any genre and make them their own. Drawing influence from the likes of Frankie Beverley & Maze, Heatwave, and Donald Byrd, they have created arrangements based off of more contemporary artists, as well such as Pharrell, Bruno Mars, and Mystikal. Although The Bassment Project is a fairly new band, you would be inclined to think that the members have been playing together for much longer than one year, as the musicians are of an impressive and solid caliber, both technically and expressively speaking.
