- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I begin working with a new customer, my first step is always a brief phone consultation. I want to get an idea of who they are and what their needs are. Then, we get to work. During the first session I take extra time to gauge how comfortable they are in front of a camera and what angles they like. I also like to know what style and mood they want their pictures to have, so I recommend having a few inspiration shots.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In high school, I joined our photography club which met bi-weekly for a lesson and excursion. I loved the club so much that I was elected vice president! In college, my studies in Communication took priority, but I was able to get a digital photography class in as an elective. Now, I seek out learning opportunities on LinkedIn Learning for Photoshop, Lightroom, and photo composition.
