We hired Ray for a 6th birthday for my grandson. All of the kids were very entertained and in awe of Ray's magic. Some of the kids told their parents that they wanted a magician at their next birthday party too. We informed Ray that the party was going to have a baseball theme so Ray made the extra effort of getting a miniature bat to use as a magic wand and a Pirate parrot stuffed toy to make magically appear at the end of the show. Ray Lucas' magic show at my son's 8th birthday party was really spectacular. He entertained and amazed the kids as well as the adults. There were 11 children at the party, and he made sure every child in attendance was included in the performance at some point, which, of course, is thrilling for an 8-year-old! Following the magic show he created balloon animals for each child, and he even left us with enough balloon swords so that each child could participate in an epic battle after he left. All the guests at my son's party had a great time. Thank you, Ray, you are an amazing magician!

Ray was awesome!!! He was unbelievable with the kiddos. He had them laughing within seconds. I am so happy I decided to hire him for my daughter’s 7th birthday. They all left saying it was the the best birthday party they had ever been to!!! I would hire him all over again!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I have a basic rate, each gig is different. I offer a variety of characters and types of entertainment. Length of performance and location is also a big part of it. I would be happy to discuss your party in greater and design a package to fit those needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to talk with each client, finding out the type of event and what style of entertainment they are looking for. I will make suggestions and am able to work in items and routines to fit almost any occasion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Magic and clowning is constantly evolving. I belong to local clubs that help educate and share. I also attend national conventions and get-to-gather events to stay abreast of the latest developments.
