They asked me to quote a price for the work I wanted to do. I said I can't do that since I don't know what's involved to fix the job and I am trying to getting multiple quotes before I hire someone. He didn't like it. Based on my accent he asked are you from this country, I said yes and he said, I don't want to do the job since I've had issues in the past with people from your country. I was taken aback by the interaction but amused. Only after I wouldn't set a price for the job did he bring this issue. I didn't hire them but they were communicative both online and via phone and didn't just ghost me.
