TL;DR: Easy to work with for simple, straightforward unclogging service. Don't expect anything additional, even if they seem willing to accommodate your request. This was my first time using Zoom Drain. They were easy to work with if all you need is a pipe unclogged. Unfortunately, I asked for something specific and they failed to deliver, despite promising to do so on three separate occasions. The request was relatively small: adding a catch-all around the storm drain to prevent accumulating trash from blocking the water flow. I've seen makeshift versions made of wire netting. Zoom Drain confirmed on three separate occassions that it should be easy enough to install something similar for my application. But after communicating this request to the main office, communicating it again to the technician, rescheduling the first appointment to accommodate the technician because the necessary supplies weren't available to do this, and finally having the same technician back another day, the pipe was unclogged but nothing else was done. I would have appreciated more honesty up-front on their capabilities. It just seemed unneccesary to claim anything more.

We give free estimates and we don't perform any work without your authorization.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will typically have a customer show us the area of concern, we will then check out the other drains in the vicinity to determine the appropriate solutions. We then show the pricing out of a menu price book before we start work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are very specialized in drains and have our own in-house training center for drain cleaning. We have weekly training sessions and mandatory safety training.
