Introduction: I am willing to go to almost any length to help my students learn the things they need to learn. I do that with compassion and care. I was accepted into a university due to Dwight's efforts and more particularly, his way of teaching. Dwight helped me (I had just got out of the marines and had not been in high school in 4 years) to learn how to THINK. Yes, he taught me formulas, science and how things work, but more importantly he taught me how to THINK. It was hard getting back in a school mindset. My acceptance to college was based on an ACT score I hadn't taken yet. Dwight had been helping me prep to take it. Come test day honestly not a thing he taught me from the test prep was on that test. But him teaching me how to THINK about every part to every question, equation, and how to analyze scientific data, is what helped me to succeed and pass the ACT to get into college.

Mr. Anderson desires to see students realize their greatest potential in education and therefore into life beyond school. As a former student I definitely learned things above and beyond science, math, tests and grades. He challenged me to think in ways that I never thought I could comprehend despite my self-made limitations. He was extremely patient with me and was willing to go at my pace until I was able to understand the subject at hand. He always made himself available for any questions or further explanations. He is very gracious, generous and understanding. He makes himself available in many ways and desires his students to succeed in and out of the classroom. He is encouraging, disciplined, and inspiring. He believes the best in others even when they dont see it in themselves. Mr. Anderson has high integrity and is admirable. He stands up for what he believes in and encourages others to think for themselves. I believe that any time you spend under Mr. Andersons tutelage will be time well invested.

If you need a science guy to talk to, Mr. Anderson is the one! Mr. Anderson knows his stuff very well and is willing to sit down and go over the material with you. Mr. Anderson is always committed to putting his students first before any other priorities. I highly recommend him!

Professor Anderson was one of the best professors I have had at BCCC. His class was challenging but your grade was a true reflection of your efforts and I learned a lot.

I have a simple hourly rate.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to teach back when I was in high school. I was the president of FTA. I went to Penn State and graduated with an Earth and Space and Science teaching certificate. I Began teaching in a district and stayed there for my career.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I am still new at tutoring. I typically teach math but I am best at science, generally basic physics and Astronomy.
