I am a called and ordained minister serving couples as a wedding officiant. Many people feel more comfortable having a practicing minister lead their ceremony rather than a justice of the peace or someone with only an online certificate, and—with the support of my congregation—I am grateful to offer that option.

I could not recommend him any higher, he was absolutely amazing. He offered to let us get married at his church which was a beautiful country church surrounded by an apple orchard. Ceremony was perfect, he made us feel at ease, just the right amount of humor and gospel to make both my wife and I happy. Please do yourself a favor and select the Pastor to officiate your day, or even stop by his church to hear the good word, I am not that spiritual, but I respect him enough to do that myself.

Pastor Rich was absolutely amazing and truly made our wedding ceremony so special. The message he gave during our ceremony felt like it was literally sent from God. We had Pastor Rich lead our wedding ceremony for our microwedding on NYE at The Star Barn. We hadn't met in person before the wedding as we didn't live near our venue. We did communicate with him via phone call, text & emails. He was professional and reassuring. The ceremony was beautiful, the wording was on point for our family. He did a great job! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All fees are negotiable. A typical wedding is in the neighborhood of $200. I am happy to officiate weddings that are away from my church building. For the couple seeking a traditional church building for their wedding, Saint John's Lutheran Church is worth considering for your occasion.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process from introduction to wedding day is always unique for every couple. I like to begin with an initial consultation. I prefer to meet with you and your fiance' face to face, if that is practicable. If not, a phone call can suffice. During this meeting we will get to know each other a bit, and I will be able to listen to you tell me what your plans are for your wedding day. From this conversation I am able to draft the wedding ceremony that is specifically for you.
After the initial consultation there are a couple of additional options that we can discuss. Essentially, I can provide whatever services you need to be ready for your wedding day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Business, and a Masters in Divinity. I have received the rite of ordination within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
