Maureen was great to work with and I would recommend her to anyone! We wanted to get some family photos taken with our almost-2-year-old and 5-year-old boys. She spent an hour with us at Hartwood Acres taking various shots, and I have to admit, I was hoping for just one decent photo we could use for holiday cards. (The boys were running around all over the place!) Maureen was so patient and accommodating. And when we received our photos to review, I realized she was a miracle worker because she was able to capture so many beautiful moments! It was a challenge for us to narrow down which photos we wanted because there were so many great ones.
We can’t wait to work with her again!

We had a wonderful experience working with Maureen. She was very flexible when we had to reschedule our photo session twice due to weather and worked to make one of the pictures we loved perfect so that we could use it for our holiday cards. I would definitely hire her again!

My pricing varies depending on the type of session you choose:
Family Sessions - Collections starting at $375
Newborn Sessions - Collections starting at $425
Events - $300 the first hour and $250 each additional hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am always excited to work with new customers! As soon as I hear from a new customer, we go over the details of the session - the location, the date, the outfits, the pricing and anything else that may come up in conversation. I answer any questions the customer may have about what to expect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My journey as a family photographer began with the birth of my daughter, 13 years ago. I wanted to have pictures of her growing up and didn’t want to forget the details of her life. I wanted her to be able to look back and know that she was a treasured child in our family. About 10 years ago, I upgraded to a professional camera and have taken thousands of photos since! When my son was born, 4 years ago, I kept up with my hobby. Shortly after his first birthday, I did a 365 project with a group of photographers around the world. In this project, I took a photo every day for a year and shared them with the group. It really helped me become better at taking candid shots and become more comfortable with all the technical aspects of photography. I really loved capturing the ordinary and special moments in the life of our family during my 365 project, and still do! That same year I also took a class, called "Everyday Beauty". I took this class at the perfect time, because I really wanted to find beauty in everyday life while doing my 365 project. In the class, my instructor assigned daily projects and a final project. Everyone in the class posted photos to share with each other, and our instructor individually critiqued our work. This class really helped me see my photos in a different way. It helped me improve on the technical aspects of composition and light in my photos.
