Lin is excellent instructor. My granddaughter only had one lesson so far but she is already showing more self confidence. I am really looking forward to scheduling more lessons with Lin.

Lin is great! For the price, you get far, far more than a "lesson." You learn horse care and horse responsibility. You ride a full hour! During the lesson you not only learn fundamental riding skills; you are also taught principals, discipline, and equine behavior and movement. Lin is patient and kind, and no fuss (which is fantastic). She is positive, knowledgeable, and a great teacher not just an "instructor." I've been riding since I was a child (I am now over 30) and have ridden in a lot of barns, I couldn't be more thrilled and grateful to have found Lin and the amazing horses at Calabine Farms.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$50 per lesson, private or semi-private, same price. Purchase lessons in a package of 5 lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to invite the customer to the barn to watch other students, meet me and meet the horses. If they decide that this is the lesson program for them, we set a date for their first riding lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years of riding and taking lessons or clinics with instructors such as Jessica Joe Tate, Kristen Severson, Felicitas Von Neumann-Cosel, Pam Wiedemann, etc. Audited USDF clinics. Own and manage the lesson farm. Have worked with horses of many breeds - QHs, TBs, WBs, ponies.
