Jamie showed up on time. I explained that Groundworks did waterproofing last summer and I still had water in my basement. I had a visit from Ken of Groundworks prior to Jamie’s visit and the best Groundworks could do is perform additional work at a cost of $15,000. That’s after I paid over $10,000 for the original work. So I decided to see if Viking could do better. Jamie was sympathetic and evaluated the work that was done, finding several issues . His evaluation was more comprehensive than Ken’s approach. I did not hire Viking because Jamie suggested that I contact Groundworks again and request that repairs be done in accordance with Groundworks warranty. I regret that I did not have Viking do the original work. Jamie said Viking always stands by its work. I believe him.

After moving into my home a few weeks ago and noticing that water was getting into the basement whenever it rained heavily, I decided to get to the root of the problem. Jamie was the first person to respond when I reached out to different waterproofing companies and he was able to come assess the problem within a few days of me contacting him. We were able to schedule the work the following week. Jamie and his team extended my sump pump discharge, extended my downspouts, and installed a French drain in the problematic part of my basement. When they left, my house was cleaner than when they came - you would honestly never even know that I had someone doing such extensive work in the house! It hasn’t rained much since, but I am confident that the work Jamie did will mitigate my issues going forward!

Viking Waterproofing promptly responded to our request. Came to our home, thoroughly explained the best course of action. We received the estimate and booked within weeks. The level of professionalism provided throughout our project was top notch. Our yard was pristine after each work day and the amount of work competed each day was astonishing! Start to finish in 3 days and I’ve never been so excited for the rain so that we can finally have a yard that doesn’t turn into a pool.
