FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I consistently read up on the graphic design and printing industry. Many people believe that print is going out of style....it's not, it's just getting a face-lift. It's strong and will be stronger in the next few years. Mailers, EDDM, brochures, catalogs, the good 'ole business card...they are all coming back with a fierce force! Check your mailbox and see the types of information you receive. Many are still on news print too.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always be comfortable with the person you are hiring. I like to have a great conversation about your business, what you like or dislike, how you want your company to be branded, your personal story about your business, etc. I encourage you to ask questions about me. Being comfortable with your designer is very important, after all, a designer's job is to make you and your business look good!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That a good designer is worth the cost. It's the old adage "You get what you pay for."
