Nicole Cochran Piano Studio

Nicole is on the piano faculty at Slippery Rock University, where she teaches music courses, piano lessons, and plays for the choirs, instrumentalists, and opera. She is Juilliard trained pianist and organist who has always had a passion for teaching and has over fifteen years of experience teaching a wide range of levels from beginners to advanced. She has taught on both the high school and university levels. Through personalized lesson plans, she is able to work with each student's skill level and interests to create a learning environment which is both productive and enjoyable. Some of the topics covered in lessons include: sight reading, rhythmic training, ear training, music theory, solfege, analysis, and technique. Lessons are taught in 30, 45, and 60 minute intervals.
