- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I primarily buy products from Sherwin Williams. The reason is that they not only make and sell the best quality products on the market, they also stand behind them. I also personally would not sell or apply a paint or finish that I wouldn't use on my own projects. Sometimes the price of a quality product is misunderstood or isn't appreciated for what it is. So I always remind my customers that they are getting exactly what they pay for when it comes to paint. As far as labor is concerned, you should remember that painting is very time consuming, especially when careful attention is paid to detail. This is how I make my living, and my prices reflect that.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father taught me to paint when I was young, and when I was out of highschool, my first real job was with a painter.

Homeowners, business owners, farmers, and real estate developers.
