I just love Miss Judy! She is very patient with me and I fee that I am learning a great deal from her. I've been to other martial arts schools before, and I was not satisfied with what I experienced. In addition, I see that the martial art style that was taught in those other places would have been of little use in a "street fight". Kenpo has a self defense move and counter for any practical attack. The other schools did not teach that.

Miss Judy was an instructor at Action Karate. From the beginning we liked her demeanor and how much she knew about karate and form and just work out in general. She was very good in helping my kids learn martial arts and also discipline and respect and focus. We enjoyed having her as an instructor and our kids placed in the top spots at the karate tournaments thanks to her! She sure knows her martial arts!

I have known Miss Judy for over 5 years when my son started at Action Karate at age 5. What impressed me most was how she worked with all the young children. Judy was able to provide a positive experience for them--teaching them new moves while also showing them how to lead by good example. Her positive use of words in helping a student achieve a new goal was always recognized, which can be hard when trying to manage a group of 5 year olds all moving at different tunes on different days. She never gave up on anyone. Miss Judy instilled confidence in everyone she taught.

Judy has been my daughter karate instructor for the last three years. She is a fantastic instructor and role model. She is very passionate and knowledgable about martial arts. She always took the time to give each student individual attention, made classes fun and kept her students focused and challenged.

Monthly packages range from $140 to $180 per month, family plans are $299 to $350, includes ALL members in same household, Ages 3 and up!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
come in and try 3 lessons and a uniform to feel like part of the team. ($29.99)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, weekly instructor meetings that include technique, review of kata, self defense, exercises, lesson of the week- a mental benefit to work on. In April 2015 I Earned my 5th degree Black Belt!
