- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I never charge a travel fee for any service inside Allegheny or Washington Counties. Minimum 1 hour service, after the first hour I charge in 15 minute increments. So, if we work for an hour and 15 minutes you get billed for an hour and 15 minutes not 2 hours like others will charge. If you are a current client and you refer someone to me who then hires me, you will get 1 FREE hour of service. No limit to how many FREE hours you can receive. If you are NOT a current client or prefer cash if you refer someone to me who then hires me I'll pay you $25 CASH. No Limit to number of referrals. For every 10 hours of service you purchase you GET 1 FREE!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When the client contacts me, I listen to all the issues they are having with their device to figure out the best course of action. Sometimes it is a simple fix that I can walk them through over the phone at no charge. If not, then I schedule an appointment that fits their schedule. After arriving at the desired date and time I diagnose the issue, Explain in layman's terms what's wrong, then give the client an estimated cost to repair the issue and let them know if it's something I can do onsite or need to take back to the shop or order parts. Once the repairs are completed I explain exactly what the issue was, how it happened, what I did to repair it and most importantly what they can do to prevent it from happening again. Then, I let the client test out the device and ensure everything is working including internet, emails, all programs, printers and other attached devices. When the client is completely satisfied with the repair, I get paid.
