FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing should not be too complicated. My estimate will be based on the number of guests, travel, if supplies are expected of me I will need to know in advance and It will be included in cost also. Also if I need to buy garnishes, glasses etc. Also pending on how many people are in the party. It may go by an exact rate for the whole night and labor or it can be tip based with a certain pay to pay for gas to get to event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I was just recently R.A.M.P certified which stands for Responsible Alcohol Management Program. Which updates bartenders on the latest laws and history of alcohol in the United States and what is expected legally of a bartender and her duties while behind the bar.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was actually lost ended up in front of a bar. I went in and filled out an application and they gave me a chance to learn a skill I could use in life for many years to come. The first bar job I had was the Royal Lounge I stayed there for 3 years up until my car accident two months ago. They were patient and fair and I worked with girls who worked in clubs that taught me more and more about mixed drinks and how to make them and how to draw a crowd. That is when I decided to start doing it for myself independently and guest bartending at certain bars.
