We have been working with Nikki for awhile now. Our dog, Nya, is fearful aggressive towards people and dogs. Our pup has made unbelievable progress! We were not going to give up on our dog and neither was Nikki. She now has 2 human friends(one is a male who was at the bottom of her liking totem pole), a few pup friends and working on having a few more(even males!). She walks great on a leash thanks to the group classes. Everyone in class always says how Nya has made the most progress. Nikki even told us we were one of her toughest cases. We can now have people over and Nya will stay away from unfamiliar faces but at least we can have company and not have a dog freaking out on the end of her leash with teeth baring. Friends are even impressed with her behavior. Everyone in class is so patient with us too and I love seeing the progress in all of the other dogs in class as well. We will be going on our 3rd round of classes shortly and will continue to work with Nikki!!! Great trainer!! Thank you for guiding us to success and showing Nya that the world is not out to get her!

More than I could have even hoped for in a trainer. Nikki is a serious, driven trainer who effectively communicates what both the dog and the owner need to do to accomplish obedience and a good relationship with your dog. Her dog handling abilities are only matched by her compassion for them. If you're from the area I doubt you could find a better trainer. Specializes in Schitzhund training as well.

My OES Bentley has some aggression issues. After a month of training he has improved tremendously. Nikki has helped me to understand that many of Bentley's issues are a result of my inability to take control. I'm learning to become the boss instead of my dog.

Just from the first lesson with Nikki, I've seen a definite improvement with Nala, my jack rusell. I look forward you the rest of my sessions with Nikki!!

Rocky and I have only been to a few classes and his aggression issues have gotten better already. I couldnt b more happy choosing Nikki Banfield School for K-9's to train my boy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated but each dog is an individual like every human. I do not cookie cut training. If dogs have special needs or multiple problems, training usually takes longer to achieve goals. More time means more money.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend several seminars yearly and am constantly reading books and articles. The way to perfect training is to train...every day.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love all creatures great and small since the day I could remember. Animal behavior has always interested me.
