- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer packages for logos and other common design requests, but I also offer quotes based on an hourly rate. This gives the client an idea of the expense of the project. I'm flexible to what the client's needs are.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I start with a quote. Once approved and signed by the client and deposit paid (for larger jobs), I discuss thoroughly what design needs they are looking for and the scope of the project. A rough time line is given based on the client's deadline. Proofs are sent, reviewed, tweaked as needed, and final product is supplied (logo files, print ready files, etc). Then the job is invoiced out to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors Degree in Communication Art - Graphic Design. Stay up to date with industry trends by local training courses offered and webinars. Positions held range from senior designer to my latest position being Founder and Creative Director of EB Designs, now in its 10th year as a full time basis. I have been doing freelance work in addition to my prior full time design positions since 2001.
