I hired Apolonia to do makeup for myself and two other friends for a special function. From the start Apolonia replied in a timely manner. The day of the event she was slightly delayed, due to weather, but she was timely in letting us know of her delay. The few minutes she got delayed, she more than made up for it with the speed of her work! Please don’t confuse my saying “speed,” with fast or sloppy work… her work was meticulous! She worked on three different tones/complexions and knocked all three out of the park! We all looked distinct and beautiful in our own ways, which was a testament to Apolonia’s skill set. There was nothing negative about the experience. Apolonia was a pleasure to work with in every way possible, and we told her she’s booked again for next year’s event — if she’s available and able.

I had Apple from A-amazing Makeovers do my make up for my wedding and She did it perfectly. Apple was very attentive from the beginning she listened to everything I wanted and very responsive it was A-amazing!! I had some difficulty with my hotel the day of the wedding which made me late and Apple helped me stay calm and did everything in her power to get me going. My makeup looked flawless I loved it!! It waS better that I ever imagined And when I looked in the mirror I couldn’t believe it was me. I am so happy I have found Apple because I will make sure I go with her for all my make up needs now. Trust me if you need your make up done A-Mazing Makeovers is the best option around!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification in makeup artistry
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began doing makeup in 2015 at the Impulse Beauty counter at Macy's. I enjoyed doing makeup on myself but never practiced on anyone else. Hired as a beauty advisor, I didn't expect to be doing much makeup, but when I got my first client I completely amazed myself. I couldn't believe the natural, raw talent I had and immediately knew that makeup was my calling.
