I hired Apolonia to do makeup for myself and two other friends for a special function. From the start Apolonia replied in a timely manner.
The day of the event she was slightly delayed, due to weather, but she was timely in letting us know of her delay. The few minutes she got delayed, she more than made up for it with the speed of her work!
Please don’t confuse my saying “speed,” with fast or sloppy work… her work was meticulous! She worked on three different tones/complexions and knocked all three out of the park! We all looked distinct and beautiful in our own ways, which was a testament to Apolonia’s skill set.
There was nothing negative about the experience. Apolonia was a pleasure to work with in every way possible, and we told her she’s booked again for next year’s event — if she’s available and able.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began doing makeup in 2015 at the Impulse Beauty counter at Macy's. I enjoyed doing makeup on myself but never practiced on anyone else. Hired as a beauty advisor, I didn't expect to be doing much makeup, but when I got my first client I completely amazed myself. I couldn't believe the natural, raw talent I had and immediately knew that makeup was my calling.
