About

My work stands out from others because of my art background and my desire to try new things during the shoot and in editing. I try to get to know my clients personalities and use my skills to communicate that through my photos. To capture a comprehensive overview of a wedding day, a photographer must combine many styles of shooting (documentary/candid, traditional, naturalistic) to really showcase everything that happened, and we strive to demonstrate this ability in our work. When I witness how excited and grateful my clients are about their photos. It's such a fulfilling career to be able to use my love of art and creating beautiful images to provide such a special service to my clients.

We were lucky to find Christine in the last minute to do the photoshoot of our daughter's engagement in Pittsburgh, PA. It was an early morning ceremony starting at 7:30AM and Christine was a bit ahead of the schedule. Yesterday we saw the photos on her website and they look very professional. A quality job. She was very professional throughout and even accepted our request to stay a bit longer to shoot a few extra photos with our family and friends.

Christine was our engagement photographer and she did a fantastic job! I appreciated that she asked me which types of shots I liked (she recommended sending some examples so she could see what style I liked) and she also tried some new ideas when we were at the shoot. She was very easy to work with and we plan on having her photograph our wedding!

Adam Hlad came out to photograph our wedding and was easily our favorite vendor we booked. He communicated with use steadily leading up to the wedding, offering advice and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. He arrived on time and took fantastic pictures all night. He even helped us run messages to our DJ who had apparently lost the order of the day he had been given. Our pictures were finished quickly and look amazing. We simply couldnt be happier with Adam's personality and work. I cant say enough good things about him. He came at an affordable price but dont for a second think youre cutting any corners by booking him. 10/10

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do offer discounts during some winter months (Jan-March) and Friday night and Sunday weddings.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we will set up a consultation either through phone or in person. During this meeting, we will discuss your style, the timeline process for your wedding, and offer any suggestions and answer questions that you might have. If you feel we are a good fit together, we can move forward on the contract, and a $250.00 deposit will secure our services for your date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in Art Education from the Ohio State University, with a focus on photography and painting. In addition to photography, Christine Hlad is also a visual art teacher.
