- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We want all of our clients to have the "Stacey Lyn" experience. As such, we are moving to one Wedding Collection beginning in 2019. This takes all of the agonizing over timeline out of the equation freeing you up to concentrate on the rest of your Wedding planning. We include an associate photographer with every Wedding so that you get more images from multiple perspectives, as well as have a photographer to cover both you AND your Groom. Both the lead and associate photographers are available for your entire Wedding Day so that nothing is missed! Our associate photographers are wedding photographers who also have their own business and are fully experienced with weddings. We also include your choice of an Engagement, Rock The Dress, or Boudoir session with your Collection so that we can get to know one another better before your Wedding Day.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When you reach out to inquire about your Wedding Day, we will first confirm that we have your date available. If we do, we'll set up a quick phone conversation to get some more details about your Wedding Day. Then, we like to meet you and your Groom (usually over coffee - since I'm a coffee nut and am always looking for a reason to head to Starbucks) in person to see if we are a good fit to work together and to answer any questions you may have. Hopefully, it's a match made in heaven and you book with us during the in-person meeting (we offer 10% off our Collection for doing so). We require 30% to book, 30% in 90 days, and the balance two weeks before your Wedding. In the months leading up to your wedding, we'll touch base several times to discuss Wedding details, timeline, and plan your Engagement/Rock The Dress/Boudoir session. We are ALWAYS available to assist with your Wedding planning in any way that we can - if you have a questions (even if it isn't photography related), let us know. We've done this a few times;)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an avid learner and believe that each day you should strive to be better than you were the day before. As such, I have invested thousands of hours in education on photographic technique and lighting via online courses, workshops, and on the job training. I have been an associate photographer for dozens of area photographers and have mentored under some of the best in the business.
