My project was a difficult one; I needed to salvage historic heart pine flooring that was 100 years old, covered in many layers of tar and laminate.
Omar was very diligent in researching the historic wood type, testing out a couple of different solutions to sand / finish / patch the flooring, all the while working with me to do the right thing for the job. I trust his work ethic and very much valued his ability to keep customer preferences top of mind.

Sand and Shine is everything you want from a home service provider and more. From the initial quote Omar was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. Those qualities carried through his work. He was flexible with my wife and I’s crazy schedules and was ready, willing and able to jump into work on our staircase staining project to meet a short completion deadline. The pricing was competitive and fair. The end result of our staircase is gorgeous. Omar has a keen eye for detail and works hard to achieve perfection.
