Sarah Joy was awesome!! We hired her to paintfaces for my daughter’s 4th birthday party. She was very communicative throughout the booking process, even letting me know when she was on the way to the party. She brought all of her own supplies, including a table and stool. She was great with the kids and her artwork was fabulous! Anything they asked for, she was ready to paint. The kids absolutely loved it. We hired her for an hour, and she arrived early to set up, so she was truly paintingfaces for the hour. I can’t recommend her enough!

Sarah expertly executed on our vision for the seascape mural in our son’s room! We are absolutely in love with it! We sent her a picture of our son’s favorite stuffed turtle and she was able to almost perfectly match it. Our son loves it so much. I would recommend her any day! Thank you so much!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will gather the details on the event. Once we have confirmed the timing and pricing I will ask for any required deposit and the event address to get you confirmed onto my calendar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught through experimentation, and via YouTube and other resources. Hours and hours of practice :).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have even drawing for fun as long as I can remember. Bringing ideas to life makes me happy. Face painting is something that I stumbled upon when someone was looking for a volunteer and I figured I would give it a shot. I have fallen in love with it as an art and as a way to connect with people. My absolute favorite is the unique requests I get from people and trying to figure out quickly the best way to build it.
