FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born and raised in New Orleans. My maternal grandfather was a general contractor. At age 13 I started working for him mostly scraping and pealing paint from homes. It was not the greatest job but he would always say, “work like a man and do a solid job and I’ll pay you for your hard work.” I made $5.00/hr and $200.00 dollars a week for a summer job. I worked along side my older brother, cousins, and my grandfather’s team of professional painters and carpenters.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I would rather see the job. Pictures help immensely, but putting my eyes on the job and talking through the process with the customer helps to stay on the same page.
