Chandini was easy to work with and her communication skills are stellar. She went with us to pick out furniture and was always accessible. She completely redesigned our den, and the flow is so much better. She had great ideas and a great eye for colors and materials. Also, she brought our project in on time and on budget. We love our new den and highly recommend

Yellow Stone Creations helped us in designing a plan for our multi-level apartment in Center City Philadelphia. It was so difficult to look for an interior designer during the pandemic and living in the city made it worst, but Chandini was there to accommodate us.Chandini Mathur was a great designer. She was so knowledgeable and detailed oriented. She was there from start to end of the design process. Everything that we wanted was visualized and turned into reality because of her. She will give her input about the design you've chosen and will give her opinion and ideas based on what's best and not because she wants it. She was with us during showroom visitation and also during the selection process. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge hourly rate, as well as flat fee from for our projects. For all our projects we give an estimate number of hours to our clients depending on the estimate time that will be taken to complete the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a new client, we do 15 mins of complimentary discovery call to understand the scope of work and find the right fit. Once that is determined then we do our first complimentary consultation visit, where we discuss the project more in details. After this visit we send them a design proposal, with scope of work, design fee and estimated hours of work. Lastly we sign the contract and start the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yellow Stone Creations owner Chandini Mathur has an Interior Design Certification from Moore College of Art and Design Philadelphia. She also serves as a Board Member in the role of a Vice President – Programs & Events of the Philadelphia Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA).
