    I hired Jean to day-of coordinate my wedding this past April. I started talking to her right around the same time that I started getting overwhelmed by wedding planning and she was incredibly helpful. She made me a detailed to do list for the last 4 weeks (I was doing all wedding planning on my own), would check in to help me keep organized, made herself familiar with my other vendors and knew details about the itinerary better than I did at times! She attended the rehearsal and was there all day for me during the wedding. This was actually the first time I met her in person as I was planning from across the country, and she was so warm and became a friend immediately which helped calm my nerves. The one thing I wanted for the day of my wedding was to not worry about anything- and I got my wish thanks to Jean. It rained unexpectedly for photos and our ceremony had to be switched to a different location, but I didn’t have to worry about any of it. She was super organized, had more energy than I did all day, and made sure things went flawlessly even when we had some hiccups. Jean was a dream to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator or event planner.

    Guiding Star for a Big Anniversary
    I've never used a party planner but figured a 50th anniversary called for expertise. Jean was a delight, open to suggestions and full of ideas. When she and our daughter decorated the room, she seemed like family. Later she faded into the background but watched over the food, drink, and service. We felt blessed to find her.

    Pine Hill events was hired to consult, manage and coordinate all elements of a surprise 50th birthday party, including on-site assistance. Jean was very detailed, organized and communicated well during all phases of the event. It was her attention to details that made this party so successful. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only charge for my time. There are no up-charges, commissions, minimums or set package pricing. Most of the time I charge hourly - so an hour worked is an hour paid. Sometimes I set a flat fee with the client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first talk to the potential client about their event to determine their needs. Then I submit an estimate for review. Once that estimate is approved, I roll it in to a contract and request a deposit. Then we get to work!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with three types of clients - business/corporate, private/social, and non-profit fundraising.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you click and trust your gut. You will be trusting this person with your very special event. You have to be able to communicate well with each other.
